Counsellors-in-Training
Counsellors-in-Training are young people 14 and 15 years old who help counsellors run their cabins. They support the counsellors and volunteers in getting the campers ready for their days, delivering programming, cleaning up from activities, and sharing in the enthusiasm.
Being a CIT is not a free trip to camp; it’s leadership and skills training. Though it can be fun as an older camper to join in the activities, CITs have responsibilities in helping camp run including cleaning, kitchen help, and making sure the kids get to bed. For a complete description of what CIT’s do, click here: CIT Position Description
If you are interested in being a CIT please fill out our CIT Application Form and submit it to the Camp Office. You can drop it off at Whitehorse United Church, or email it to work@braeburncamp.ca

Board of Directors
Braeburn Lake Summer Camp is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board meets throughout the year once or twice a month as needed. Sub-committees of the Board work to hire staff, find volunteers, track our finances, maintain camp facilities, advertise and promote camp, and fundraise.
The Board has representatives from the Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, and United churches, and room for community members who work together to make camp the best it can be.

If you would like to help out you can contact the Camp Office to find out how.
